The Private YACHT A on the left and the new Zumwalt Class Destroyer on the right.  Both vessels' designs are base on the new X-Bow. The new bow design provides for a softer entry into wave and reduces slamming and impact.  I took the photos of YACHT A anchored off Sausalito.  Not everyone finds the design attractive.  I personally find it stunning. Regardless, this is the look of the future.
